Fresh Fare Farms

Course Assignment for SNHU Class 415

PURPOSE

This series of social media carousel advertisements are part of a multi-channel marketing campaign for Fresh Fare Farms (as part of a college course assignment for GRA 415). These artifacts coincide with the print advertisement previously shared. The purpose of these social media ads is to gain audience interest in the meal delivery service offered by Fresh Fare Farms, and to increase meal delivery service subscriptions during Hunger Action Month, as part of a campaign to donate meals to the community. The target audience for this campaign is primarily college students and young working professionals but also includes an older Millennial audience as well. The audience is diverse in class and ethnicity, yet they are socially and health-conscious individuals interested in quick yet healthy meal solutions. To be effective and maintain brand consistency, the ads need to feature the logo, brand colors and typefaces, and they also need to highlight fresh meal ingredients with a clear call-to-action. The text needs to follow brand guidelines while being bold and readable. It needs to quickly capture attention with the first ad, and interest viewers into viewing the remaining ads, making them want to take action and sign up.

 

DESIGN RATIONALE

The overall concept of this ad series is to highlight farm fresh ingredients that lead to healthy and easy to prepare meals. It utilizes imagery and vibrant colors to capture attention and interest, making the viewer hungry and think of the appeal of the meal service. It meets the audience requirements by using bright colors, large type, and minimal text that is easy to read and quickly grabs attention. The ads communicate the offering of meal delivery services as well as highlight how Fresh Fare Farms will help the community during Hunger Action Month. Alignment and repetition are used on the text to make it easy to read and transition from one ad to the next. Negative space is used to keep the ads simple and easy to understand. Color, shapes, and contrast are used to highlight key elements, such as the tagline, and make it stand out in a subtle way that is visible but not distracting. Contrasting typefaces and colors are also used within the text to add visual interest and emphasis to key words and phrases.
